Brief History: Krishnapur Sukhobithika Memorial Society (abbreviated as KSMS henceforth) is a Kolkata based non-profit, non-government organization working extensively in the areas of providing humanitarian aid and relief to the poor and needy, especially in rural areas of West Bengal, with special focus on the upliftment of rural women and children. It is a group of dedicated and hardworking individuals with genuine social responsibility and commitment to the overall upliftment of the destitute and underprivileged, through active support in the areas of providing food, clothing, shelter, medication, education material, and various group awareness campaigns. Its activities are spread across the districts of Purulia, Birbhum and West Medinipur in West Bengal, and has plans to expand operations in other districts in the near future.
