Location:District: Medinipur (East); Village: Purushottampur (5 km from Mandarmani)

Activity:

1. Providing warm blankets to 100+ people of the village
2. Providing reusable sanitary napkins to 50+ womenfolk of the village
3. Conducting health awareness camp for all
4. Providing financial assistance worth Rs 15,000/- to impoverished villagers

Feb 2021

Location:District: Purulia; Village: Sonahara, Ajodhya Hills

Activity:

1. Conducting of medical camp in which KSMS member Dr Subhas Banerjee checked the basic health parameters of all village persons
2. KSMS member Smt Anima Ghosh provided 50 bottles of iron tonic to all people suffering from anemia
3. Providing reusable sanitary napkins to all womenfolk of the village
4. Assessment of drinking water shortage and lack of potable water – decision to address the same ASAP.

2^nd-4^th Dec 2021

Location:District: Purulia; Village: Sonahara, Ajodhya Hills

Activity:

1. Sanitary napkins (3 months’ worth) provided to 90 destitute and impoverished women of the village
2. Financial assistance to purchase these reusable sanitary napkins was provided by members Partha Sarathi Gayen, Suchanda Pal
3. Dry food items distributed among 60 families
4. Financial assistance for the above provided by several members (Mithu & Anirban Banerjee, Anukriti Banerjee, Anima Ghosh, Sukamal Gupta, Kalpana Gupta, Anupam Mandal and others
5. KSMS Sr VP Sri Apurba Banerjee provided clothes and education material to the family of Nandan Hembram out of his own funds and initiative
6. Work started to install solar powered submersible water pump to address drinking water shortage – courtesy the efforts of KSMS Chairman Sri Partha Sarathi Gayen
