Activity:

• Arrangement of Education tour in Kolkata for Madhyamik passed students

In an area with very little progress in education, it has been the endeavor of KSMS society to arrange instructive educational tours for all students who pass Madhyamik examinations for that year.

During this time 3 students had passed Madhyamik examinations - KSMS society had successfully arranged educational tours for them at Indian Museum, Birla Museum, Birla Planetarium & Alipore Zoo for 1 day - along with their boarding and lodging arrangements.

Activity:

• Providing winter jackets to all students

Destitute and needy students suffer from bitter cold and thus KSMS society had arranged for the distribution of winter jackets to all students of the school.

• Providing 3 language Alchiki-Bengali-English dictionary to the teachers of the same school

Educate the teachers to provide effective education - under this initiative, the teachers need further enrichment of their own knowledge. Two tri-language dictionaries (Alchiki - Bengali - English) sourced from the Adivasi Unnayan Department have been handed over to the teachers.

• Providing foodgrains (30 kg of green matar) to the students

Providing a basic quality of food for destitute and impoverished students is a real necessity therefore KSMS society have tried to arrange for essential foodgrains for their morning tiffins.

• Providing food packets to the same team members

Activity:

Registration of tribal jhumur dance teams at Kolkata

Initially, not having any registration, these tribal teams were victims of fraud as some people had taken money for getting their registration done without any real progress. Also, not being registered - they had only the meagre sustenance provided by mela administration committees without any income of their own. They had endured extreme hardship financially, but after getting the registration done through the efforts of KSMS, the tribal teams are able to secure orders and have improved their financial condition gradually.

Activity

• Providing blankets
• Providing reusable sanitary napkins

Have provided winter blankets to the residents of the village.

Have also provided reusable sanitary napkins again, to the women of the village. In the process, have organized a camp to educate the people on the procedure of napkin usage and taken feedback on the same.
On the same day - provided notebooks and play equipment to the students of the village's primary school students.

Had organized lunch for the students and through the contribution of a member, had sustained the provision of providing one egg per student per day for the last 2 months

• Providing winter clothes and covered shoes to school students
• Organizing non-vegeterian supper (rice and mutton-curry) for resident students
• Providing re-usable sanitary napkins to 110 women of the village.
