Description of the Project: Infrastructure development of school for village children.
Location: Vill-Puniashashan; PO: Ajodhya; PS: Baghmundi; Dist: Purulia; West Bengal.
School: BEER SIDU KANU TILKA SECHET ASHRA (Ajodiya Buru)
Activity: Organised and submitted project proposal for infrastructure development for the school. Received approval and funding for the same. Started the infrastructure development with the above funding for the school. KSMS society have taken initiative for the procurement of funds for infrastructure devlopment for the above school-in this regard relevant project proposal had been submitted to representative of M/s. Kolay Properties, Mr. Debojit Kolay. He had approved the project and subsequently provided Rs.50,000/- fromhis own funds and another Rs.50,000/- from the funds of M/s Kolay Properties for the execution of the project. With the above funding, a large pucca brick room for residential students have been built with asbestos roofing, complete with floor, shuttered windows and doors. We consider this activity as a considerable success for the KSMS and their initiative.
06.02.2026 to 08.02.2026 (February 06-08, 2026)
Description of the Project: Installation of submarshal pump for drinking water supply for the school children and also made available for the tribal villagers.
Location: Vill-Puniashashan; PO: Ajodhya; PS: Baghmundi; Dist: Purulia; West Bengal.
School: BEER SIDU KANU TILKA SECHET ASHRA (Ajodiya Buru)
Activity: Organised and submitted project proposal for installation of submarshal pump for providing drinking water to school children and also for the tribal villagers in the neqrby area. Received approval and funding for the same. Started the project with the above funding for the school. KSMS Society have taken initiative for the procurement of funds for the installation of submarshal pump within the school premises. In this regard the relevant project proposal submitted to the respected donor Shri NilanjanDas, CEO, INDIA TODAY publication house, New Delhi. He approved the project and subsequently provided Rs.65,000/- from his own resources for the proper execution of the project. With the said donation one submarshal pump has been set up with one reservour along with all pipeline settings and aplicable tabs at various points for proper distribution of dringking water. Till date that is in fully operational stage. We consider this project as a considerable success for the KSMS and their initiative.
13.03.2026 ( March 13, 2026)
Description of the Project: Distribution of sanatary napkin and nutritious food articles among poor village women.
Location: Vill-Ampukur Danga, Bolpur; Dist: Birbhum; West Bengal.
Activity: Organised and submitted project proposal for the purpose. Received approval and funding for the same. One day programme was initiated, i.e., on 13th March, 2026 at village Ampukur Danga, Bolpur, Birbhum district. At the first phase for distribution of re-usable sanatoary napkins project was submitted to the honourable donor Shri Debojit Koley, owner of M/s. Kolay Properties, Kolkata for an amount of Rs.40,000/- which was approved and donated by the donor. In the second phase, for distribution of food articles all the donors and members of the society donated for an amount of Rs.5,000/-. All the two programmes were successfully accomplished in favour of the poor village women group in the area Ampukur Danga.
We consider this project / activity as a considerable success for the KSMS and their initiative.
26.05.2026 to 27.05.2026 ( May 26-27, 2026)
Description of the Project: Logistic support to village school at Puniashashan, Purulia.
Location: School: Beer Sidu Kanu Tilka Sechet Ashra (Ajodiya Buru); Vill-Puniashasan; Dist: Purulia; West Bengal.
Activity: Organised and submitted project proposal for procurement of computer, printer etc. for the use of school children of Beer Sidu Kanu Tilka Sechet Ashra School (Primary Section). Received approval and funding for the same. Procured all the accessories and installed successfully for the benefit of the students. KSMS society have taken the initiative for the procurement of funds from among the respectable members of the society. With the above funding full logistic support, as stated above, has been provided and made operational for the benefit of the school children.
We consider thsi project as a considerable success for the KSMS and their initiative.

Description of the Project: Infrastructure development at the school premises and distribution of food articles to students.
Location: School: Beer Sidu Kanu Tilka Sechet Ashra (Ajodiya Buru); Vill-Puniashasan; Dist: Purulia; West Bengal.
Activity: Organised and submitted project proposal for infrastructure development for school. Received the approval and funding for the same. Started the infrastructure development with the above funding for the school. KSMS society have taken initiative for the procurement of funds for infrastructure development, i.e., for building of kitchen for the school within the school premises. In this regards relevant project proposal had been submitted before the Core Committe of the society and approved by the respectable members of the Core Committee. An amount of Rs.10,000/- had been sanctioned and fully utilised for the construction of the kitchen. The same is now operational for the purpose of cooking, storage of food articles etc. In the second phase, in the same school, one-year programme for food articles distribution had been initiated by the KSMS Society which is still in operation for the benefit of the school children consisting of 80 number os of students (residential and day schoolers.). The project cost for this purpose amounted for Rs.30,000/- which had been supported by Shri Nilanjan Das, CEO, INDIA TODAY publication house, New Delhi from his own resources.
We consider these two projects as considerable success for the KSMS and their initiative.

Description of the Project: KARAM FESTIVAL, 2026 a Tribal Festival.
Location: Villege: Shahajapur Sian, Bolpur; District: Birbhum; West Bengal.
Activity: "KARAM FESTIVAL-2026", an annual festival, which was celebrated on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, corresponding to the Shukla Ekadashi of the Hindu month of Bhadrapada to worship Karam-Devta (the god of power, youth, and fertility) in village at Shahajapur Sian of Bolpur. During this festival, the tribal villagers worship branches of the sacred Karam tree, which symbolize fertility, strength, and family well-being. Festivities included vibrant community folk dances, traditional drumming, and singing that stretch across day and night. KSMS society had taken initiative for procurement of festive Sharees along with other gift articles specifically for the dancing group who performed during celebration of the festive events.
In this regard relevant project proposal had been submitted to M/s. CA Market, Ladies Club, Salt Lake City, Kolkata who approved the project and sanctioned an amount of Rs.5,000/- for distribution of sharees to the performers at the festival mentioned above. An additional amount of Rs.5,000/- had been provided by the respectable Members of the Society.
We consider this activity / project as a considerable success for the KSMS and their initiative.
