Krishnapur Sukhobithika Memorial Society's Services
In broadening the service areas covered:
We have so far been able to conduct camps and services in a few places in the districts of Purulia, Birbhum and Medinipur.
We would strive to cover additional districts and areas in West Bengal where similar cases of underprivileged people exist, especially among women and children.
We solicit the active support and participation of all members and furthermore, of interested general public who may identify with our cause and mission and join us wholeheartedly to strengthen the team.
In providing vocational training to provide “self-reliance”:
Humanitarian and charitable support is the first immediate actionable step for the rural and underprivileged population.
The next step, ideally, should be to identify a few vocation areas for the eligible population – to be able to arrange their training and help them with marketing their products and services to make them progressively self-reliant, such that they may stand independent and be financially stable to take care of their own requirements in future.
It is this initiative – a smaller “nation building” exercise, following in the footsteps of several of our leading forefathers – Swami Vivekananda, Netaji Subhas Bose, C. R. Das, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, and others, which will, in effect – at least start to eradicate the permanent state of poverty and helplessness which has plagued our rural society since time immemorial.
Let us rededicate ourselves to the larger cause of providing a dignified living for the underprivileged masses of rural Bengal first, India next.
